What we do

Your phone quietly keeps a record of where you’ve been. It’s a long list of coordinates, and it’s hard to look at. Timeline Visualizer turns that list into a moving map, so you can watch a month, a trip, or a whole year unfold in a few seconds.

Then you can share it. Send the animation to friends, family, or anyone who wants to see where the year went.

How it works

1. Bring in your Timeline. Add the Timeline data from your Google Maps account.
2. Choose a period. Pick the days, months, or year you want to replay.
3. Press play. Watch your route draw itself across the map, then share it.

Your Timeline stays on your device

Location history is some of the most personal data there is. We built Timeline Visualizer so your Timeline stays on your device while you use it.

You decide what to share. Nothing leaves your device until you choose to share it.
